Quick blog post this Sunday afternoon. I was messing around with some spare cardstock paper I have lying around, and found that I can make greetings cards out of them! After a lot of trial and error and fighting with my printer, I have made 4 sets of 5 cards so far. I need to make/buy envelopes for them, but they are adorable. Final sizes will be 4"W X 3.5"L, hand folded cards by me. The gallery below shows some of the prints that are printed on the outside (front and back) of the cards. Hopefully I can take some great photos tomorrow and start listing them!

Quick blog update today, I'm super excited about the prints I made today! Well, actually printed them, they were already made. The geometric prints turned out amazing, these 3 are going in our apartment. They're all 12" X 12" so I can't wait to frame them!

Also printed out the first 6 letters in my alphabet card series. This is going to be a great way to teach your kids the alphabet and have fun at the same time. I hope to get the set listed on my Etsy store this afternoon.

The alphabet set is also a great idea for teachers, to have each letter hanging on the wall, or on a wire so the kids can see them all. Right now they are available in 4" X 6", or 5" X 7". I can make them bigger on request, and if you want a single print, I can work with that.

Have a great weekend!

Woke up this morning to see that one of my paintings had sold via my Etsy shop! I have to admit, I had a couple of seconds of a little sadness, as I love this piece. But now I am happy that someone will enjoy this piece in their home. Now the craziness of shipping will commence!

I also have an excuse now to paint some more, so I can stock up my abstract paintings section.

Have a great Sunday!

Hey there! I'm totally new at this blog thing, so I hope I don't bore you to death! Today I just wanted to take some time to say hello, and thanks for visiting my website. As my about page says, I'm an Aussie that lives in America with my husband. I used to paint as a hobby when I was in graduate school, but once I got a "real" job, I found that I had a little more spare time, and recently got back into my art. I used to primarily paint abstract pieces on canvas and canvas paper (see below for some examples. I apologise in advance for no makeup!). Lately, I have become obsessed with using graphics software to make some fun items. I live in a tiny apartment, so unfortunately I don't have a dedicated room for my art (a studio would be so amazing!). We are hoping to be able to afford a 2-bed place sometime in the coming years, so I can have my easel constantly ready for painting! Lucky we have a nice dining table.
Right now I am loving my new Geometric Collection, which is inspired by a modern, minimalist art movement, as well as some mixing and matching of fall 2013 colours.
